Q:  Where is the JeriPole made?
A:  Design, finish work, and final assembly are done in Placitas, New Mexico, USA.  Fiberglass rod and ceramic line eyelets are sourced from China.  3D printed plastics are sourced from various 3D printing shops across the USA.  Yay for www.Treatstock.com

Q:  Does the JeriPole void my trekking pole warranty?
A:  Probably.  Many trekking pole companies will void their warranty when their poles are used for anything besides hiking.  So, using your trekking pole as a selfie stick, camera monopod, tent pole, fishing pole, etc., will more than likely void the warranty.   

Q:  Which reels fit the mounts?
A:  Most fly reels fit the fly reel mount.   The spinning/underspin mount fits small 500 size spinning reels or small underspin reels such as the Daiwa XD 40 series. Contact us if your reel does not fit into the reel mount socket.

Q:  Do you have a recommended reel?
A:  Okuma Avenger AV-500a for a spinning reel, Daiwa XD 40 for underspin.
For fly reels, we use an inexpensive reel from Ebay or AliExpress marketed under various names such as ST60, PB60, or D60 'ice fishing' reels.  The 60 size holds about 60 feet of WF4 fly line and the JeriPole will cast the WF4 line approximately 35 feet.  So, there is extra line for drifting and playing fish.   For reference: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2255800297385400.html

Q:  What is the line test strength recommended?
A:  Trout and panfish are the target fish, so 4 Lb test recommended, 6 Lb test maximum.  In fly line tippet terms, 6X tippet recommended, 4X tippet maximum.  We use WF4 main fly line.

Q:  Do you sell trekking poles?
A:  No.  Poles are available from various online and brick and mortar retailers.

Q:  Do you recommend a trekking pole?
A:  We like Foxelli carbon fiber telescoping trekking poles. Very good bang for buck.

Q:  Is the fishing adapter kit available for my trekking pole?
A:  Currently, kits are available for Foxelli and Cascade Mountain Tech telescoping 3 section trekking poles.   Will not fit folding poles.
