The Story of the JeriPole

I've been backpacking for many years and broken so many fishing poles on the trail I can't count.  So this time when my sister (Jeri) said, 'Hey, let's take a week and go hike and fish the Pinos.', I finally decided I needed a better option than a dedicated fishing pole.

​I was already using a trekking pole to hold up my tent, so I was pretty sure they would work as a fishing pole for the trout we were after, just needed line management and a flexible rod extension.  A few workshop sessions and the JeriPole is now my hiking/fishing solution.  Ultralight, compact, and no more broken poles.
